2. Information we collect
When you register and pay, we collect:
- Full name, email address and phone number
- Gender and date of birth
- T-shirt size and race category
- Blood group and emergency contact number
- Payment identifiers from Razorpay (payment ID, order ID, amount and status)
- Technical data such as browser type and pages visited, collected by Cloudflare as part of hosting
Card numbers and CVV are entered on Razorpay Checkout. We do not store your full card details.
3. How we use your information
- To complete registration and confirm payment
- To issue race extras (T-shirt, bib allocation, timing where applicable, certificates)
- To communicate event instructions, schedule changes and safety information
- To contact your emergency number if needed on race day
- To maintain accounts, GST invoices, refunds and statutory records
- To prevent fraud and resolve payment disputes
4. Who we share it with
- Razorpay: to process payments, refunds and settlements
- Cloudflare: to host this website and our payment confirmation service
- Google (spreadsheet): to store the organiser registration list used to deliver the event
- Boating, timing, medical or catering partners, only as needed to run race day
- Authorities if required by law
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Storage and retention
Registration records are kept for event operations and for as long as needed for tax, accounting and dispute resolution (typically up to 8 years for GST and accounting records in India). Blood group and emergency contact details are used for participant safety and are not published publicly.
6. Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of registration data by emailing info@sportsreconnect.com, subject to legal retention requirements and the need to run a paid event. You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails. Operational messages about the race you have paid for will still be sent.
7. Security
Payments are processed over HTTPS through Razorpay. Our website is served on Cloudflare. Access to the registration spreadsheet is limited to authorised organisers. No method of transmission is completely secure; please use a private device when paying.
8. Children
Registrations for minors should be completed by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the accuracy of the information submitted.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
